Bear is a
lovely, typical Icelandic Sheepdog with a wonderful
temperament, thick
red coat, and characteristic friendly, playful
personality.
|

Bear's name (Sjavarbjorn translates as Sea Bear) is
appropriate,
because Stu and Debbie have a summer home on the
ocean in Maine, where
he can enjoy the water. |

Wonderful family group! |

|
Bear's mother, CH Frostfyre's Runa:

Runa was bred by Susan Hartman, Lynchburg, VA and
she is the
litter sister of GCH Frostfyre's Roskur.
Roskur is the
father of my CH Stonecrop Anja (Annie). Roskur
had an
impressive show career, ending his career winning
the breed
at the Icelandic Sheepdog National Specialty in 2014
from the Veteran's class. |

Bear's father, Reike,
was bred by Heather Jeanblanc and is owned by John
and Emily Gitelmann.
Reike's lines go back to Ans Beer-Schell's famous
Dutch kennel, frá Thytur Stadir.
