Truffle - Lagsi Litter  June 2013

Third Week Candid Shots
These pictures were taken from Day 16 through 19.  They pretty much get older as you
scroll down.  Many changes this week, as eyes are now open, puppies can get up on
their legs and "walk", they started eating mushy food from a pan, and the whelping box
was removed from the pen and stored away.  They can pee on their own now, but
Truffle still licks them to pee and to clean them, and tries fruitlessly to get rid of the
traces where they pee on their blankets.

As I put in these pictures from the past 4 days, I am amazed to see how much
bigger and more grown up they look today than they did just a few days ago.

For some reason this time I seem to have lots of pictures of Blossi and Kappi, and not so
many of Edda.   I'll get more of her next time around.  Also check the 3rd week
video page for them all.

I think it comes from above somewhere.

Often in the whelping box, they liked to crawl to the edges
and stick their heads under the pig rail.

First meal

They spent as much time licking it off themselves as they did licking out of the pan.

Gosi is already serious about his food.

This is a vocal litter.  They make all kinds of noises,
expressing the whole range of emotions.   Sometimes
they get so excited when they are eating, they are quite
noisy and hilarious.

Icies are talkative!  They'll quiet down some, in about
three years.
